Choose a guide for your version of WoW

Azeroth Pilot Reloaded is a free, open-source World of Warcraft leveling and questing addon. It puts route instructions, the next objective and a navigation arrow inside the game, so you can follow a questing path while playing.

Start with your game client. APR has Retail routes, including supported Midnight content, and dedicated WoW Forever routes. An older expansion listed under Retail is not a promise of support for a separate Classic client. Browse the current catalog and check your faction, level and prerequisites before choosing a route.

Install the free WoW leveling addon

Install the APR release for your client from CurseForge, together with its required LibTaxiData dependency. Enable both at character selection. APR and its included routes do not require a guide subscription.

Open /apr route in game. Start with the Leveling preset, or explore Speedrun and All Quests if they match the experience you want. Availability depends on the routes compatible with your character.

Follow the next quest, then the next step

Read the current-step panel and follow the waypoint arrow. A route can ask you to accept a quest, complete objectives, travel or turn quests in. Optional objectives can appear as fillers: work on them alongside the main route when appropriate.

APR guides your decisions; you still move, fight and interact with the world. Quest item and spell actions require your click or key press. Read the instructions when a step has a prerequisite instead of skipping it simply because it is not available yet.

Build a questing path that fits your character

Use the in-game route browser to assemble compatible routes in the order you want. The website catalog helps you explore by client, expansion, faction, category and route type; the in-game browser determines what your character can actually use.

Adjust panel position, text size, colors and automation in /apr. If you prefer to read quest dialogue, choose the automation settings that suit you. A clear route and readable interface can reduce time spent deciding where to go; they do not guarantee a fixed leveling time.

Returning to a character or starting an alt?

Check the route’s requirements against your current level, faction and completed quests. If a route is missing, confirm that the installed APR release matches your client before reporting a problem. Include the route name and current step so contributors can investigate.

For your own routes, APR Route Recorder can capture a starting point. A useful guide still needs review: add conditions, reorder steps, choose filler objectives and test the route in game.

Which WoW leveling guide should you choose?

Compare the client and content you need before comparing features. APR is an option if you want free, inspectable routes and a configurable in-game guide. If you are considering Zygor or RestedXP, check their current coverage and guide access alongside APR’s route catalog.
