What is the link between Azeroth Auto Pilot and APR?
Azeroth Pilot Reloaded (APR) continues the work of Azeroth Auto Pilot (AAP), with a rewrite and ongoing development. The APR project describes this relationship on its official CurseForge page and in its source repository. If you remember AAP’s quest instructions and navigation arrow, APR builds on that approach to guiding your character through a route.
The addon to look for and install is named Azeroth Pilot Reloaded. This website covers APR’s releases, route catalog and documentation.
Start using APR after Azeroth Auto Pilot
Download the APR release for your game client, together with its required LibTaxiData dependency. Enable both addons at character selection. If AAP or another guide addon is enabled, turn off overlapping guidance and automation to avoid competing instructions.
In game, type /apr route and choose a route compatible with your character. Use /apr for settings. Check your active route and step before continuing; installing APR does not guarantee that an older addon’s saved progress or settings will transfer.
Find a route for your version of World of Warcraft
Browse APR’s catalog by game client, expansion, faction and category. APR includes Retail and WoW Forever routes; the in-game browser checks the conditions for your character. Seeing an older expansion in the Retail catalog does not establish support for a separate Classic client.
The addon and its included routes are free and open source. You still control movement, combat and interactions. Quest items and spells require your input.
Returning to an unfinished character?
Choose a compatible route, then compare the current instruction with your quest log. Check prerequisites before skipping a step. If you need help, include your client, APR version, route name and current step when describing the problem.
